Reticulated Foam for Marine and Outdoors

The marine and outdoor furniture industries have very challenging needs when it comes to foam. Providing a solution is why we’re here. Reticulated foam help water and moisture drain from seat cushions while also providing antimicrobial protection from mold and mildew. V&V carries a selection of this foam in a range of ILDs cut to practically any thickness. Paired with the proper vinyl or Sunbrella®, this foam is the savior for many boaters and resorts around the world.

Dacron

The finishing touch on many great upholstery pieces is a nice dacron wrap. We sell high-quality, 3/4 oz. dacron in 54″ and 27″ rolls as well as in 4 yard put-ups. No lumpy junk here! Good quality with a nice loft – perfect for any job (and aquarium filters, too!).

Fiber Filling

Whether it’s stuffing pillows or couch backs, fiber filling is a common component in most upholstery projects. We stock several blends of polyester filling including our Durofill line as well as a down-like blend (karate chop). We also can procure for you feather-down blends as well as shredded foam for those specialty projects.

EVA / Closed Cell Foam Sheets

Closed Cell Eva is a buoyant, waterproof foam sheet that is perfect for a lot of projects that require something firm, flexible and robust. Coast Guard approved, this material is available in 2 lb. and 4lb. varieties and sees wide usage throughout the marine industy.

Polyethylene Sheets

Polyethylene is a material that reminds people of what pool noodles are made of. We stock 1.2 lb. PE sheets measuring 1″ in thickness that are popular for both packaging and marine upholstery. Other variants of this material are available in varying firmnesses and thicknesses. Call for details.
